Preschool Prep Available

As experts in early child development, My Gym Edmonton understands the impact preschool or pre-kindergarten education has on children’s emotional, social, and cognitive development. In our commitment to educate the whole child, we offer the “My Gym Preschool Prep Program”.

Preschool Prep focuses on imparting to children the skills needed to excel in preschool and beyond. Our program allows students to transition into preschool and kindergarten with confidence, curiosity, and a love for learning. Students attain these qualities through our award-winning My Gym fitness curriculum, arts and crafts, stimulating small group and independent activities, and basic academic preschool instruction. This 3-hour program for 2 ½ - 5 years focuses on making learning fun and exciting in the familiar and nurturing atmosphere of My Gym.

THE DETAILS

Ages: Preschool Prep is for potty-trained children 2.5 - 5 years.

Schedule: Preschool Prep classes are held on Thursdays 12:30 pm – 3:30 pm.

Availability: Please inquire.

Food: Parents send a water bottle for their child. We will provide your child with a healthy snack! Please notify us of any food allergies. We are a nut-free facility and kindly request your compliance.

Cost: 

One class per week = $219/4 weeks.

Tuition is paid via recurring automatic payment.

Students maintaining Preschool Prep in addition to a 50-60 minute My Gym or Ninja classes receive a discounted rate.

Makeups: Unlike typical preschool programs, we do offer makeups! Children enrolled in Preschool Prep can makeup up absences in My Gym classes. Absences need to be made up within 4  weeks of when occurred, otherwise they expire and must be completed before you last class. 

Pick up and Drop Off: Preschool Prep is a drop off program. Please arrive 5 minutes prior to your child’s class time to get them ready for fun! Please ensure that you are arriving 5 minutes prior to pick up. If you are late to pick your child up you will be charged $1 per minute. 

Other The student to teacher ratio will be approximately 6 to 1. Classes will be taught by My Gym staff.  Children should be potty trained. If they have a bathroom accident, we will give you a call to come and help your child.

Annual Closure Dates: If Preschool Prep is cancelled due to a holiday you will receive a make up credit on your account.
