My Gym was born out of our passion to teach children in a fun, physically engaging environment. We delighted in seeing children's eyes light up for all those incredible milestones, from the tentative first steps to tumbling down soft mats. Sharing the parents’ excitement at their children’s accomplishments was the high point of our day.
Picture this: In 1983, three fitness enthusiasts—Yacov, Susi Sherman, and Bill Caplin—redefined children's fitness by blending dance, gymnastics, and athletics. That's the birth of My Gym! Their mission: create a space just for kids—no more sharing mom's or dad's gym, but My Gym. With backgrounds in dance, gymnastics, and athletics, they crafted a unique fitness curriculum focused on non-competitive skill building for ages 6 weeks to 14 years. Fast forward: Cory and Monique turned My Gym into a franchise sensation in 1994. The success was undeniable, growing from 100 kids to over 400 in a year. Now a global phenomenon, My Gym is consistently ranked the #1 children's program worldwide.

Coach Melina is our ray of sunshine in classes and our behind-the-scenes ROCK. As our Director, she keeps things running both behind the scenes and in-class fitness (and she's a runner in her spare time outside of the gym)!
Ms. Addie joined the Frisco team in 2009 coming from a history of working at various My Gyms (starting in 1999!). After previously loving on the kiddos in Plano, Texas and Highlands Ranch, Colorado, she found a permanent home in Frisco. She loves the community, the children, and the fun My Gym brings to their daily lives. She and her 2 kiddos can often be seen in My Gym class - they LOVE "Mommy's Gym!" And, in 2025, she and Ms Morgan took over ownership of My Gym Plano, in addition to the Frisco gym. 🥰
Coach Gabby's constant smile and easy-going nature make her a consistent favorite in the gym. She's always going the extra mile in and out of classes and parties. She loves her Preschool Prep kiddos and excels as both our Birthday and Preschool Prep Coordinator 💖
Coach Halle joined our squad after seeing both her younger siblings attend My Gym classes (and have birthday parties 🥳). She recently graduated from high school and is adventuring through her Freshman year of college 🧑🎓🤩
Coach Lilli can be found working through observation and clinical hours with children when not in the gym. Her love of kids carries through to her continuing education - while in school, she can be found in the gym for Parents' Night Outs and birthday parties. 🤩💙
Coach Ana loves My Gym! She has a zest for teaching, and the kids in the gym adore her upbeat spirit. We constantly hear "Coach Ana, watch THIS!" echoed throughout Parents Night Out and camps!
Coach Sadie is a joy in the gym. She brings the energy and vibe for parties every weekend and our seasonal camps. She's currently preparing for graduation and the adventure beyond!
