Tiny Tykes
(6 - 14 months)
As the babies gain hand, arm and trunk control and become mobile, we introduce new and stimulating activities. Our experienced teachers are sensitive to the strong emotional attachment these little ones are developing with their mothers, and each parent/child unit is nurtured according to their specific needs. Our Tiny Tykes and their parents are led through a variety of beginning stretches, exercises, infant songs and dances, baby-safe rides and adventures, balance and agility skills, and introductory tumbling during this 1-hour program. A relationship to movement and physical activity begins to develop, as our Tiny Tykes discover their natural abilities and enhance their physical and cognitive development.

Waddlers
(14 - 22 months)
This stimulating 1-hour program introduces balancing, tumbling, hanging and agility skills, which helps the children develop a love of physical activity and a sense of pride in their achievements. At this age, a child’s level of independent mobility will typically progress from aggressive crawling to running. Additional fine and gross motor skills developed during this stage include kicking a ball, building a block tower, riding a tricycle, and walking up stairs. Our highly trained instructors shower the children with affection, as they guide our Waddlers in early social skills through interactive songs, choreographed dances, age-specific puppet shows, special rides, and a variety of swings and other original activities.

Gymsters
(23 months - 2.5 years)
The gross motor abilities of early 2-year-olds are often characterized by more confident running, jumping on two feet, and an overall improved spatial awareness of their bodies. This is the earliest age group with which we work on fine and gross manipulatives in a structured format, as the 2 to 2 1/2-year-olds' attention span grows, allowing the child to focus for longer periods of time. During this 1-hour program, the youngsters are elated as they sing, dance, swing, play games, watch puppet shows, take turns on special rides, and have 'Surprise Time!' Our Gymsters feel great about themselves as they learn gymnastics in a constantly changing program with fresh ingredients and new equipment setups each week.

Terrific Tots
(2 1/2 - 3 1/4 years)
In addition to having fun with structured games, fascinating adventures and pre-gymnastics, our Terrific Tots learn beginning sports skills, gain fine and gross motor proficiency, and strengthen manipulative skills. The youngsters become more independent as teachers are now interacting more directly with them. Parental involvement is gradually decreased through inviting activities with love and understanding, and the children exude pride and self-esteem as they are treated like 'big kids.' In this age group, teaching physical skills is a top priority. During this 1-hour program, the development of social skills is also emphasized, as the youngsters become good listeners, follow directions, cooperate in a group, and learn more about themselves.

Sibling Class
(5 years and younger)
Our Sibling class offers a great opportunity to take advantage of the awesome MY GYM program for siblings at different ages. In one convenient class, the children are split into age appropriate groups each with their own instructor who tailors the games and gymnastic activities specifically to their group's age. Its a fun and exciting way for all of your children to experience the MY GYM program all at once. Emphasis is on teamwork, sharing, taking turns, working together and building the relationship. The older of the two siblings has an excellent opportunity to participate within the "big brother" or "big sister" role that they love so much. Relays, puppets, gymnastics, games, swings and special rides are just a few of the activities performed in each and every class.

Mighty Mites
(3 1/4 - 4 1/2 years)
With greater independence comes the ability to participate without the parent, and our Mighty Mites are lavished with positive reinforcement for self-reliance and following directions. Strength, flexibility, and agility are increased, as our teachers introduce gymnastic skills with the safest spotting techniques and communication through language geared to build self-esteem and confidence. Sensitive to peer pressure, these 3-year-olds are nurtured so tenderly and always with a success-oriented approach. Relays, more complex games, and beginning sports skills lead to increased strength, enhanced manipulative ability, and improved hand-eye coordination during this 1-hour program.

All Star Sports
(4 - 7 years)
My Gym’s exhilarating All Star Sports Program empowers children, ages 4 to 7, as they learn the rules and fundamentals of various sports. Confidence soars as our My Gym Kids develop skills such as passing, catching, hitting, kicking, jumping, throwing, etc. while learning to play baseball, football, soccer, basketball, hockey, tennis, and more. This is a great substitute for PE classes for those children who are homeschooled.
The four to six week curriculum for each sport includes exercise and fitness training, basic rules and definitions, court or field layout, skill drills, take-home worksheets, and other concepts specific to each sport. On the last week of each sport, the children are ready to play a game “the My Gym way.” The kids are elated as they develop physically, become comfortable with the basics of each sport, and gain the skills that prepare them to participate in any organized sport they choose.
