As the babies gain hand, arm and trunk control and become mobile, we introduce new and stimulating activities. Our experienced teachers are sensitive to the strong emotional attachment these little ones are developing with their mothers, and each parent/child unit is nurtured according to their specific needs.

Our Tiny Tykes, Waddlers, and their parents are led through a variety of beginning stretches, exercises, infant songs and dances, baby-safe rides and adventures, balance and agility skills, and introductory tumbling during this motivating program. A relationship to movement and physical activity begins to develop, as our kiddos discover their natural abilities and enhance their physical and cognitive development.

The gross motor abilities of 1 - 2 year olds as they grow are often characterized by more confident running and jumping on two feet as well as an overall improved spatial awareness of their bodies. This is the earliest age group with which we work on fine and gross manipulatives in a structured format, as their attention spans grow, allowing the children to focus for longer periods of time.

During this engaging class, the youngsters are elated as they sing, dance, swing, play games, watch puppet shows, take turns on special rides, and have "Surprise Time!" Our Waddlers and Gymsters feel great about themselves as they learn gymnastics in a constantly changing program with fresh ingredients and new equipment setups each week.

In addition to having fun with structured games, songs and dances, and pre-gymnastics, our Terrific Tots learn beginning sports skills, gain fine and gross motor proficiency, and strengthen manipulative skills.

The youngsters become more independent as teachers are now interacting more directly with them. Parental involvement is gradually decreased through inviting activities with love and understanding, and the children exude pride and self-esteem as they are treated like "big kids."

In this age group, teaching physical skills is a top priority. The development of social skills is also emphasized, as the youngsters become good listeners, follow directions, cooperate in a group, and learn more about themselves.

With greater independence comes the ability to participate without the parent, and our Mighty Mites and Whiz Kids are lavished with positive reinforcement for self-reliance and following directions. Strength, flexibility, and agility are increased, as our teachers introduce gymnastic skills with the safest spotting techniques and communication through language geared to build self-esteem and confidence. Sensitive to peer pressure, these 3 - 5 year olds are nurtured so tenderly and always with a success-oriented approach. Relays, more complex games, and beginning sports skills lead to increased strength, enhanced manipulative ability, and improved hand-eye coordination during this program.

As experts in early child development, My Gym Tustin understands the impact preschool or pre-kindergarten education has on children’s emotional, social, and cognitive development. In our commitment to educate the whole child, we are offering the “My Gym Preschool Prep Program” every Monday - Friday from 9:30 am - 12:30 pm.

This program focuses on imparting to children the skills needed to excel in preschool and beyond. Through our award-winning My Gym fitness curriculum, arts and crafts, stimulating small group and independent activities, and basic academic preschool instruction, our students will transition into preschool and kindergarten with confidence, curiosity, and a love for learning. This 3-hour program focuses on making learning fun and exciting in the familiar and nurturing atmosphere of My Gym.

The first 2 hours will be spent working in a nurturing, encouraging academic environment with an emphasis on writing, letters, reading, numbers, science, art, socialization and listening skills, and much more.

The final hour of the program is spent on the gym floor, where your kids will take part in fun physical activity including relays, tumbling, sports and games led by your favorite My Gym instructors!

I hereby authorize My Gym to charge my credit/debit card every four (4) weeks. The current tuition is stated on this form and is subject to change with notification.

Tuition is based on 4 weeks of class programming. Members must inform the gym of an absence a minimum of 2 hours in advance to be eligible for a make-up. Each make-up must be completed within 8 weeks of the missed class. Make-ups can only be completed during active enrollment. Make-ups are no longer valid once enrollment ends. There may be short periods when My Gym is closed or classes are not running. If this occurs and a class is missed, the member is entitled to a make-up. Policies differ for Learn, Create & Explore and other ancillary programs.

This agreement constitutes a continuous payment plan and will remain in effect until terminated by the member. Your child will automatically remain enrolled at My Gym until an official Cancellation Request Form (CRF) has been completed and submitted in person. It is agreed that, when a CRF has been received, the member will be responsible for one final payment on the next scheduled date. This agreement will terminate 4 weeks from that last scheduled payment.

Members agree to remain enrolled for a minimum of two (2) consecutive, recurring payments. A Fee of $15 will be charged for all returned payments. Any and all payments to My Gym are non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances.
