Our youngest My Gym students begin their first visual, audial, and spatial exploration while engaging in fun and safe baby exercises, songs, dances, skills, swings, and more. As part of this unique program, new parents engage in gentle postpartum-friendly cardio, strength, and endurance exercises while bonding with their babies. *Note: Always consult your doctor before beginning any exercise routine.

As the babies gain hand, arm and trunk control and become mobile, we introduce new and stimulating activities. Our experienced teachers are sensitive to the strong emotional attachment these little ones are developing with their mothers, and each parent/child unit is nurtured according to their specific needs.

Our Tiny Tykes and their parents are led through a variety of beginning stretches, exercises, infant songs and dances, baby-safe rides and adventures, balance and agility skills, and introductory tumbling during this motivating program. A relationship to movement and physical activity begins to develop, as our Tiny Tykes discover their natural abilities and enhance their physical and cognitive development.

This stimulating program introduces balancing, tumbling, hanging and agility skills, which helps the children develop a love of physical activity and a sense of pride in their achievements.

At this age, a child's level of independent mobility will typically progress from aggressive crawling to running. Additional fine and gross motor skills developed during this stage include kicking a ball, building a block tower, riding a tricycle, and walking up stairs.

Our highly trained instructors shower the children with affection, as they guide our Waddlers in early social skills through interactive songs, choreographed dances, age-specific puppet shows, special rides, and a variety of swings and other original activities.

The gross motor abilities of early 2-year-olds are often characterized by more confident running and jumping on two feet as well as an overall improved spatial awareness of their bodies. This is the earliest age group with which we work on fine and gross manipulatives in a structured format, as the 2 to 2½-year-old's attention span grows, allowing the child to focus for longer periods of time.

During this engaging class, the youngsters are elated as they sing, dance, swing, play games, watch puppet shows, take turns on special rides, and have "Surprise Time!" Our Gymsters feel great about themselves as they learn gymnastics in a constantly changing program with fresh ingredients and new equipment setups each week.

This class introduces elements of movement, creative expression, and ballet to prepare children for our independent Ballet class. The children learn the fundamentals of a structured dance class in a fun, noncompetitive way! Children will gain confidence as they learn the vocabulary of ballet, are taught basic stretches and barre exercises, and are given opportunities to move to music. This class is designed to encourage an early love of dance!

Terrific Tots

In addition to having fun with structured games, fascinating "Adventures," and pre-gymnastics, our Terrific Tots learn beginning sports skills, gain fine and gross motor proficiency, and strengthen manipulative skills.

The youngsters become more independent as teachers are now interacting more directly with them. Parental involvement is gradually decreased through inviting activities with love and understanding, and the children exude pride and self-esteem as they are treated like "big kids."

In this age group, teaching physical skills is a top priority. The development of social skills is also emphasized, as the youngsters become good listeners, follow directions, cooperate in a group, and learn more about themselves.

Ninja Training is packed full of climbing, balancing, running, jumping, crawling, and swinging. With our diverse equipment, each week will present new and exciting challenges. The mental and emotional benefits include the development of problem solving, focus, creative thinking, and the patience needed to overcome a challenge. The obstacle courses are intended to challenge children mentally and physically while instilling a mindset of overcoming adversity both inside and outside of the gym.

When children have mastered the basic moves and discipline necessary to be successful in ballet, they are ready for our Ballet / Jazz Combo class.

This class is great for both beginning and experienced dancers. Students will focus on increasing balance, flexibility, and musicality while building on ballet, tap and jazz techniques. Class is taught to both classical and upbeat music, and dancers are encouraged to be creative and have fun.

This fun and focused class is great for both beginning and experienced gymnasts! Children begin to work on learning and perfecting skills in leveled groups on the Bars, Vault, Beam, and in Tumbling. The emphasis is on having fun and learning foundational gymnastics skills, strength, & flexibility – not competition. Classes are taught in the same positive, encouraging environment that children are accustomed to in every My Gym Program.

Practice & Play

Each week, children currently enrolled in a class may attend any of our 50-minute members-only Practice & Play sessions (1 hour this Thursday and Friday and our pop up sessions on selected weekends). Siblings of enrolled children may attend using our practice and play punch cards (Open to all members this Thursday and Friday, click on our hurricane irma update for pricing). Parents share the fun, as the children are guided through gymnastics, tumbling, and other challenging practice stations. Each child is required to have adult supervision. Don't forget your socks, if you do we sell socks at $1 per pair, space is limited, first come first serve!
