My Gym was born out of our passion to teach children in a fun, physically engaging environment. We delighted in seeing children's eyes light up for all those incredible milestones, from the tentative first steps to tumbling down soft mats. Sharing the parents’ excitement at their children’s accomplishments was the high point of our day.
Picture this: In 1983, three fitness enthusiasts—Yacov, Susi Sherman, and Bill Caplin—redefined children's fitness by blending dance, gymnastics, and athletics. That's the birth of My Gym! Their mission: create a space just for kids—no more sharing mom's or dad's gym, but My Gym. With backgrounds in dance, gymnastics, and athletics, they crafted a unique fitness curriculum focused on non-competitive skill building for ages 6 weeks to 14 years. Fast forward: Cory and Monique turned My Gym into a franchise sensation in 1994. The success was undeniable, growing from 100 kids to over 400 in a year. Now a global phenomenon, My Gym is consistently ranked the #1 children's program worldwide.

Guntis and Elina are proud to bring My Gym Chino Hills to the local community. As parents, they understand how important it is to have a place where children feel safe, supported, and excited to learn through movement and play.
Their journey with My Gym began in 2019, when they became franchise owners in Europe. Over the years, they have seen firsthand how a positive, structured, and encouraging environment helps children build confidence, develop physical skills, and form healthy habits that last.
Before expanding My Gym to Chino Hills, Guntis spent decades in leadership roles across Europe and the United States, helping teams grow through strong values, clear direction, and healthy culture. Together, Guntis and Elina bring those same principles-care, consistency, and encouragement-into the heart of My Gym Chino Hills.
My Gym Chino Hills is built by Guntis and Elina with families in mind. Their goal is to create a welcoming, trusted space where children feel celebrated, parents feel supported, and the community grows stronger together.
Hello, I'm Sage, and I am the assistant director and trainer at My Gym Chino Hills. Having lived in Chino Hills for most of my life, I have always loved being part of this community and now I am excited to give back by working with children and families right here at home. At My Gym, I am passionate about helping kids discover new skills, achieve their goals, and build confidence-always in a fun and supportive environment. I bring energy, patience, and encouragement to every class because I believe learning should feel exciting and joyful. Outside of the gym, I enjoy collecting unique items and playing tennis. Both keep me active and let me explore new interests, which I love sharing with the kids to inspire them to try new things too. I look forward to meeting all of the families at My Gym Chino Hills and cheering on your little ones as they grow, learn, and do their best!
Hi everyone! I'm Kale, a new resident of Chino Hills, and I'm beyond excited to be part of the My Gym family! I am so lucky that I get to help create a safe, fun, and engaging environment for kids to develop healthy habits, improve physical skils, and put a smile on their faces. Some fun facts about me are that I love to play piano, tennis, and cook. Also, I have two pet lizards and a cat who I LOVE.
Hello friends! I'm Elace and I can't wait to meet all of you! I lived in Chino Hills for a good chunk of my life and even though I moved away, I keep coming back to the community. Giving positive experiences to the people around me is what I live for. You can count on me to show up and make things fun.
