Preschool Prep Class

In this two hour-long class (Thursdays 12:30-2:30 pm), children will gain independence as they have fun with structured games, relays, skill stations and pre-gymnastics. While teaching physical skills is a top priority, the development of social skills is also emphasized. Children work toward developing proficiency in listening, following directions, and cooperation. The children exude pride and self-esteem as they learn and have fun! In every class, the children do a project, focusing on a basic fundamental skill, like cutting, gluing, matching and using different art mediums like colored pencils, chalk and paint. Our curriculum breaks down these skills into different levels so the children fully grasp the skill we are teaching. In addition, the children will be able to choose from two different Imagination Stations, where we will encourage them to let their imaginations soar with the use of musical instruments, blocks, dress up props, accessories and puppets.
