How Your Membership Works

How Your Membership Works

We’re so excited to have you join us at My Gym! To make your My Gym experience a GREAT one, here are a few things to know.

What’s included in my membership?

  • Tuition includes 1 class per week.
  • Your tuition also includes Unlimited Practice and Play programs (parent-supervised open play) per week.

Class Tuition

  • The Primary Tuition Plan of $199 includes one primary structured class a week and Practice & Play.
  • The Secondary Tuition Plan of $239 includes a second class a week and Practice & Play.
  • Siblings will get 20% off, Twins will get 22% off, and Triplets will get 33% off if enrolled in the program simultaneously.
  • To ensure that the appropriate number of trained staff is available, we do not operate as a drop-in program for our classes unless you schedule the Practice & Plays.
  • Practice & Play: You can join any available Practice & Plays weekly but can only schedule two at a time.

How am I billed?

  • For everyone’s convenience, My Gym Enrollment is an auto-enrollment system. After your trial, you’ll be auto-enrolled continuously every 4-weeks (28 days) at our tuition rate of $199 for one child and $159.20 for your second child (if applicable).
  • We hope you LOVE your classes! Our age-appropriate programs grow with your little ones all the way to age 10! But, if life happens and you need to cancel your membership, you can do so easily on your online account. Cancellations are not taken verbally to ensure we both have a “paper trail.”

Any other booking rules?

  • Going to be absent from your structured class? Members are required to mark themselves absent in advance online to receive a make-up for their primary class. Letting us know you’ll be absent allows another child to come and enjoy the gym in your place.
  • Going to be absent from your Practice and Play? Members are required to cancel their scheduled session in advance online to be able to reschedule. Letting us know you’ll be absent allows another child to come and enjoy the gym in your place.
  • How do make-ups work?  How do I book a Practice and Play?
    • All make-up classes and Practice & Plays must be booked in advance on our real-time online booking system; walk-ins are not permitted. Only classes that have spots available will appear. Sorry, My Gym personnel cannot override the system or book classes for you in person.
    • You have 42 days from the date of the absence to attend a make-up class.  Make-ups do not accrue beyond 42 days. Make-up credits will expire 42 days after your missed class.
  • Siblings: Other than infants, siblings are not allowed on the gym floor unless they are enrolled in the proper age-appropriate class. You’re welcome to wear, sling, or wrap an infant while your enrolled child participates.

  • For make-up classes, your child can attend any available age-appropriate class.
  • To reserve a spot for a make-up class, you must schedule using your online account.
  • We ask that you schedule all make-up classes at least 24 hours in advance to ensure you get a space in class.
  • If you cannot schedule a make-up class for a specific time, it is because that class is at capacity.
  • You will forfeit that make-up credit if you do not attend your scheduled make-up class without canceling using your online account.

Practice & Play

As an added benefit to being enrolled in classes, members can schedule as many available Practice & Plays throughout the week. (Open Gym Times) This is included with your tuition, but you may also purchase Practice & Play Class Card Packages if you are not enrolled. Practice & Play class card packages are available to everyone. Members enrolled are limited to scheduling up to two (2) Practice & Plays sessions to allow fairness amongst everyone. Once you have completed one session, you can schedule another session the next day.

  • Practice & Plays become available to you on the day your enrollment begins. You can schedule from your online account as early as midnight on the morning of. Children can play on the equipment and around the gym during this time in an unstructured, parent-supervised environment.
  • A staff member will be present on the floor, encouraging children to practice, participate in other activities, and try some of the skills being worked on in class that week.
  • If you cannot make it to your scheduled Practice & Play, please cancel your reservation, allowing someone else to book that spot.

We understand that, at times, younger or older siblings may have time off from school and need to come to My Gym during class. We understand that attending My Gym with only the enrolled child is not always possible. Unfortunately, for safety reasons, we cannot allow siblings in the play space during classes; however, we will work with you to find a solution.

  • Infants can be held in a Bjorn-style holder or left in infant carriers.
  • Preschoolers can sit in our lobby with coloring books, electronic devices, etc., where you will constantly watch them. We appreciate our member's understanding of this matter to ensure all of our classes are private, safe, and fun for all!

Sniffles? Cough? Runny nose?

  • We love sharing – just not germs. If you feel ill in any way, please stay home and get well soon! Let us know if you will not be attending class by marking your child absent online.
  • If you or your child show signs of illness during class, a My Gym teacher will kindly ask you to return another day. We appreciate your compliance.

What steps can I take to keep my child safe while at My Gym?

  • Although accidents are rare at our centers, all physical programs have an inherent risk. We take great care in designing our curriculum and gym setup to be as safe as possible.
  • Your help in following all safety policies and in-class safety announcements will maximize your child’s safety while at My Gym.
  • When participating in class, we recommend that your child wear My Gym Gripper socks or go barefoot, and adults are required to wear socks. We have My Gym Gripper socks in adult sizes, too. If you happen to forget your socks, they may be purchased upon arrival.
  • Parents/caregivers are responsible for constantly supervising their children during parent participation classes and the Practice and Play program. Always be within an arm’s reach or less of your child and ready to assist as your little one explores the gym and equipment.
  • Please wash your hands or use sanitizer before entering the gym floor and when you leave.
  • We encourage you to take pictures (use #mygymparkslope to tag us!), but please be mindful to take photos/videos of only your child.
  • All older children must be picked up promptly once the class has ended.
  • My Gym is a nut-free facility. Please do not bring any products containing nuts into the gym.
  • Reminder: We are not responsible for lost or stolen items. We encourage you to leave any valuables at home.

Sincerely (and with hugs and high-fives!),
My Gym Park Slope
