We’re so excited to celebrate with your family and want your party experience to feel fun, smooth, and stress-free. Below are answers to some of the most common questions we receive. If you still have questions after reading, please don’t hesitate to reach out — we’re happy to help.
📅 How do I book a party or check availability?
To book a birthday party or check availability, visit the Parties section on our website and select your preferred party package. If you’re unsure which package to choose, we recommend starting with the Grand Celebration. You can always upgrade your package later if needed.
Once you click “Choose This Package,” you’ll be prompted to log in to your My Gym account. If you don’t already have an account, you’ll be guided through creating one. After logging in, you’ll be able to view available dates and times, complete your booking with a $150 deposit, and secure your party. You will receive an email confirmation promptly after booking.
💰 Why are My Gym birthday parties priced the way they are?
My Gym birthday parties are more than just playtime in an open space. Our pricing reflects the level of care, structure, and personalization that goes into every celebration.
What makes My Gym parties special:
Instructor-led, structured activities (not open play)
Staff who actively engage, guide, and include every child
Age-appropriate games designed to keep kids moving and connected
Private use of the gym — no shared space or overlapping parties
A clean, safe, welcoming environment
Full support from setup through cleanup
Our team works intentionally to make each party feel personal, organized, and memorable, so families can relax and enjoy the moment.
🧦 What should children and parents wear?
All children must wear My Gym gripper socks while on the gym floor. Parents who plan to enter the play area are also asked to wear socks.
Gripper socks are included for each child attending a Deluxe or Premier Celebration. While we know some families already own My Gym socks, new socks are provided for party guests to ensure proper grip and safety. Socks naturally wear down over time, so having a fresh pair helps keep everyone safe during active play.
You’re always welcome to reuse older socks for future classes or visits.
⏰ How early can we arrive for the party?
Families and guests may arrive up to 10 minutes before the scheduled party start time.
Parties are often scheduled back to back, and our staff relies on the short transition window (typically 20–30 minutes) to clean, reset the gym, and prepare activities for the next celebration. Arriving earlier than 10 minutes can interrupt another family’s party and limit our ability to prepare your space.
🚪 Why do we ask families to depart promptly after the party?
We kindly ask families to begin wrapping up and exiting at the scheduled end time.
Prompt departure allows our team to:
Safely clear the space
Clean and reset the gym
Prepare for the next party
Stay on schedule for all families
Our staff will give friendly time reminders as the party comes to an end to help the transition feel smooth.
🍕 Can I bring my own food or dessert?
Yes. Families are welcome to bring their own food and dessert. We recommend keeping food simple so children can stay engaged in activities. Please check with us ahead of time if you have questions about specific items.
🎨 Can I bring my own party theme or decorations?
Yes. Families are welcome to bring their own theme or decorations. All decorations must be fully assembled and dropped off prior to the party start time. This allows our staff to stay focused on activities, safety, and the flow of the celebration.
🎭 Can I bring a costumed character or entertainer?
Outside entertainers or costumed characters are only permitted if discussed with My Gym. This helps us ensure safety, timing, and smooth integration with our structured activities.
👩🏫 Can I request specific party staff?
You are welcome to request a specific team member, and we will do our best to accommodate. However, due to scheduling and availability, we cannot guarantee specific staff assignments.
🎈 Do adults count toward the party total?
No — adults do not count toward the number of children included in your party package.
🎵 Can I request music or activities?
If a theme or customization is added, activities and music will reflect that theme. Otherwise, we play fun, kid-friendly music and tailor games to the ages and energy level of the group. If there’s something you loved at a previous party, feel free to let us know.
🎁 Can we tip the party staff?
Tipping is never required, but always appreciated.
Our staff puts a lot of care and energy into making each party fun, safe, and memorable. If you feel your party team went above and beyond and would like to show appreciation, gratuities are welcome — but completely optional.
💳 How is payment handled?
At the end of your party, our team will review your invoice with you to ensure everything looks correct.
