Dave Ames

Nickname : Mr. Dave

Mr. Dave is the owner and director of My Gym Norwell, which opened in March of 2008! His birthday is September 11th. Dave grew up in Montclair, NJ but currently lives in Scituate, MA with his wonderful wife & two boys, ages 2 and 4. He has a B.A. in Economics and Environmental Science from Bowdoin College, and a M.A. in the Art of Teaching from Tufts. He played soccer, hockey, and lacrosse throughout most of his education. Dave has been teaching for around 10 years! His first 6 years of teaching were as a high school science and math teacher, and the last 4 years he has been teaching at My Gym. His favorite physical activities include running, skating, skiing, and playing golf. He also likes to watch football and hockey! His favorite thing about working at My Gym is "the children and my staff!" Some of Mr. Dave's favorite My Gym games are: Hanging Bolster Relay and Dodgeball. Something you might not know about Mr. Dave is ... he loved to break dance when he was little and he can still do "the worm!" Kendra Boc

Nickname : Ms. Kendra

Miss Kendra has been with My Gym since July of 2008! Her birthday is February 8th, and she lives in Weymouth, MA. Kendra has a B.S. in Dance Management from Oklahoma City University, and has over 22 years of experience and training in ballet, tap, and jazz. Her favorite physical activity is, of course, dancing! Her favorite thing about working at My Gym is "the kids, of course!" Some of Miss Kendra's favorite My Gym games are: Bottoms Up, Freeze Dance, Tug of War, and Wedge Mat Splat. Something you might not know about Miss Kendra is..... she loves giraffes!

Zack Flannery

Nickname : Mr. Zack

Zack has been with My Gym since April of 2012!! His birthday is March 4th and he currently lives in Marshfield. Zack attended Scituate High School and received a BSBA in General Business from Nichols College in 2011. In high school Zack taught learn to skate programs to beginning skaters. Zack also has experience coaching high school and college rugby. Zack participated in track, football, hockey and rugby in high school. During his senior year, his Scituate High School hockey team won the state championship. In college Zack was the captain of his rugby team. Zack also enjoys camping and kayacking. Zack's favorite sports are ice hockey, rugby and kayaking. His favorite thing about My Gym is getting to work with kids! His favorite kids game is Hide and Seek. Something you might not know about Mr. Zack is...he loves Penguins! Zack also owns and operates a landscaping business in Scituate.
