Practice & Play is a time reserved for kids of all ages to enjoy the gym in an open-play concept. It is included with membership, and serves as a complement to your child's weekly age-appropriate class. At every Practice and Play, a skilled My Gym teacher helps the children practice the skills we're working on in their class week-to-week. As they perfect their skills, they'll also be having tons us fun getting to explore the gym at their own pace. Parental supervision on the gym floor is required – regardless of your child's age – so come prepared to play!

This stimulating program introduces balancing, tumbling, hanging and agility skills, which helps the children develop a love of physical activity and a sense of pride in their achievements.
At this age, a child's level of independent mobility will typically progress from aggressive crawling to running. Additional fine and gross motor skills developed during this stage include kicking a ball, building a block tower, riding a tricycle, and walking up stairs.
Our highly trained instructors shower the children with affection, as they guide our Waddlers in early social skills through interactive songs, choreographed dances, age-specific puppet shows, special rides, and a variety of swings and other original activities.

The gross motor abilities of early 2-year-olds are often characterized by more confident running and jumping on two feet as well as an overall improved spatial awareness of their bodies. This is the earliest age group with which we work on fine and gross manipulatives in a structured format, as the 2 to 2½-year-old's attention span grows, allowing the child to focus for longer periods of time.
During this engaging class, the youngsters are elated as they sing, dance, swing, play games, watch puppet shows, take turns on special rides, and have "Surprise Time!" Our Gymsters feel great about themselves as they learn gymnastics in a constantly changing program with fresh ingredients and new equipment setups each week.

Abrakadoodle Visual Arts classes inspire children's imagination by immersing them in such art forms as painting, sculpture, mosaics, collage, digital design, paper art, stamping, anime, sketching, studio art, foil embossing and more.
This is usually a child's first formal exploration of art. This fun class focuses on experimenting with a wide variety of materials while developing children's sensory, recognition of shapes and colours as well as their find motor skills and through scribbling, printing, moulding, painting and other activities.
This 60min parent participation class also allows parents and caregivers learn to assist and nurture their child's creativity and skills.

In addition to having fun with structured games, fascinating "Adventures," and pre-gymnastics, our Terrific Tots learn beginning sports skills, gain fine and gross motor proficiency, and strengthen manipulative skills.
The youngsters become more independent as teachers are now interacting more directly with them. Parental involvement is gradually decreased through inviting activities with love and understanding, and the children exude pride and self-esteem as they are treated like "big kids."
In this age group, teaching physical skills is a top priority. The development of social skills is also emphasized, as the youngsters become good listeners, follow directions, cooperate in a group, and learn more about themselves.

This is an independent class where children develop their visual ideas through the hands on creative experiences such as cutting, folding and drawing. Children also strengthen their fine motor skills and learn to express their emotions through colours.

This is an independent class where children learn about painting on canvas paper, canvas board and stretched canvas. They'll be inspired as they learn techniques, style and vocabulary of such artists as Renoir, Mondrian, Pollock, Modigliani and Warhol.
The last 10 minutes of the art class ("Little Art Gallery" Review session) requires parental involvement because a large part of developing the child's confidence and accomplishment is enhanced when a caregiver attends this special moment.

With greater independence comes the ability to participate without the parent, and our Mighty Mites are lavished with positive reinforcement for self-reliance and following directions. Strength, flexibility, and agility are increased, as our teachers introduce gymnastic skills with the safest spotting techniques and communication through language geared to build self-esteem and confidence. Sensitive to peer pressure, these 3-year-olds are nurtured so tenderly and always with a success-oriented approach. Relays, more complex games, and beginning sports skills lead to increased strength, enhanced manipulative ability, and improved hand-eye coordination during this 1-hour program.

Classes will focus on developing strength, stamina, and agility in relays, conditioning exercises, games, team-building and, of course, obstacle courses that change every week. Kids will be challenged mentally and physically, while instilling a mindset of overcoming adversity both inside and outside of the gym!

This fun and focused class is great for both beginning and experienced gymnasts! Children begin to work on learning and perfecting skills in leveled groups on the Bars, Vault, Beam, and in Tumbling. The emphasis is on having fun and learning foundational gymnastics skills, strength, & flexibility – not competition. Classes are taught in the same positive, encouraging environment that children are accustomed to in every My Gym Program.

This is an independent class where children learn about acrylic painting on canvas, gain art knowledge and art appreciation, and learn the styles of master and contemporary artists and more!

This is an independent class where student will learn and develop art techniques in a variety of mediums including sketching, charcoal, watercolour, and gouache. This class will focus on advanced art techniques to allow students to further develop their art skills.
