This is the first class where children begin to work on learning and perfecting gymnastics skills in a more traditional environment. Gymnasts work to increase their strength, balance, agility & discipline while learning skills in a progressive format. There is a focus placed on developing motor control and body awareness. Class is taught in the same positive, encouraging environment that children are accustomed to in every My Gym Program.
Attire: Long hair tied back. Leotards are recommended for girls, but not required. Comfortable, athletic clothes for boys.

Each child receives their own skill chart and progresses through colored levels at their own pace. Class is taught in the same positive, encouraging environment that children are accustomed to in every My Gym Program.

NOTE: This is an Advanced Beginner class. Students entering this level should have graduated the Beginner Level or have some experience with gymnastics skills or obtain teacher permission

Students work in leveled groups on the Bars, Vault, Tumbling, and Beam; as well as, continue adding motor skill, strength, & flexibility development throughout class. Each child receives their own skill chart and progresses through colored levels at their own pace. Class is taught in the same positive, encouraging environment that children are accustomed to in every My Gym Program.

NOTE: This is an Advanced class. Students entering this level should have graduated the Beginner Level and have solid foundations in the Level 1 skills. Check with a teacher to see if this is the most appropriate level for your child.
This class is great for both beginning and experienced dancers. Students will focus on increasing balance, flexibility, and musicality while learning ballet, jazz and tumbling techniques. Class is taught to both classical and upbeat music, and dancers are encouraged to be creative and have fun.
This class participates in Dance Recital.
