My Gym was born out of our passion to teach children in a fun, physically engaging environment. We delighted in seeing children's eyes light up for all those incredible milestones, from the tentative first steps to tumbling down soft mats. Sharing the parents’ excitement at their children’s accomplishments was the high point of our day.

How We Started

Picture this: In 1983, three fitness enthusiasts—Yacov, Susi Sherman, and Bill Caplin—redefined children's fitness by blending dance, gymnastics, and athletics. That's the birth of My Gym! Their mission: create a space just for kids—no more sharing mom's or dad's gym, but My Gym. With backgrounds in dance, gymnastics, and athletics, they crafted a unique fitness curriculum focused on non-competitive skill building for ages 6 weeks to 14 years. Fast forward: Cory and Monique turned My Gym into a franchise sensation in 1994. The success was undeniable, growing from 100 kids to over 400 in a year. Now a global phenomenon, My Gym is consistently ranked the #1 children's program worldwide.

Favorite Game - Hanging Bolsters

Christine has been a big part of My Gym for over 20 years! She is Miss Carolyn's twin sister and brings to My Gym over 13 years experience of cheerleading through Cumberland Valley School District and Slippery Rock University. It's easy to see Christine loves the My Gym kids! Christine has 2 little ones of her own, Haven and Henley, who are My Gym fans!

Favorite Game - Monster Through Walls

Seeing double? Miss Carolyn and Miss Christine are twins! It's a game for the parents and kids to find a way to tell them apart! The kids flock to Carolyn as soon as they see her. She is fun and enthusiastic, loves gymnastics, cheerleading, and the Philadelphia Eagles. Miss Carolyn has a son Paxton and a daughter Presley and is very excited to watch them grow through the My Gym program!

Mr. Sasha is always looking to make sure children have the best time possible while at My Gym! The kids love knocking him over and watching him fall onto the floor! He knows how to make everyone laugh. You can find Sasha playing the drums in his band during his spare time. We are happy he is part of our team. He is just an all around great guy!
