Little Bundles/Tiny Tykes/Waddlers LIVE6 weeks to 22 months
Our youngest My Gym Kids and their parents are led through a variety of gentle stretches, exercises, songs, dances, and more. This fun “parent and me” class also includes physical skills that help the little ones develop strength, balance, and confidence. Babies and toddlers alike will discover their natural abilities and enhance their physical and cognitive development. This class is via Zoom.
Tiny Tykes/Waddlers7mos - 22mos
As the babies gain hand, arm and trunk control and become mobile, we introduce new and stimulating activities. Our experienced teachers are sensitive to the strong emotional attachment these little ones are developing with their mothers, and each parent/child unit is nurtured according to their specific needs.
Our Tiny Tykes and their parents are led through a variety of beginning stretches, exercises, infant songs and dances, baby-safe rides and adventures, balance and agility skills, and introductory tumbling during this motivating program. A relationship to movement and physical activity begins to develop, as our Tiny Tykes discover their natural abilities and enhance their physical and cognitive development.
Waddlers/Gymsters14mos - 2½yrs
This stimulating program introduces balancing, tumbling, hanging and agility skills, which helps the children develop a love of physical activity and a sense of pride in their achievements.
At this age, a child's level of independent mobility will typically progress from aggressive crawling to running. Additional fine and gross motor skills developed during this stage include kicking a ball, building a block tower, riding a tricycle, and walking up stairs.
Our highly trained instructors shower the children with affection, as they guide our Waddlers in early social skills through interactive songs, choreographed dances, age-specific puppet shows, special rides, and a variety of swings and other original activities.
Gymsters/Terrific Tots1yrs11mos - 3¼yrs
The gross motor abilities of early 2-year-olds are often characterized by more confident running and jumping on two feet as well as an overall improved spatial awareness of their bodies. This is the earliest age group with which we work on fine and gross manipulatives in a structured format, as the 2 to 2½-year-old's attention span grows, allowing the child to focus for longer periods of time.
During this engaging class, the youngsters are elated as they sing, dance, swing, play games, watch puppet shows, take turns on special rides, and have "Surprise Time!" Our Gymsters feel great about themselves as they learn gymnastics in a constantly changing program with fresh ingredients and new equipment setups each week.
Gymsters/Terrific Tots LIVE23 months to 3.25 years
During this captivating class, the youngsters are engaged as they warm up, sing, dance, watch puppet shows, and practice their physical skills. The teachers, along with parents, will guide them through basic tumbling and gymnastics skills – no gymnastics experience required! The children feel great about themselves as they practice and improve gross and fine motor skills, balance, and agility. This class is via Zoom.
Preschool Prep2 yrs to 5 yrs
As experts in early child development, we understand how pre-kindergarten education impacts children’s emotional, social, and cognitive development. This program focuses on imparting to children the skills needed to excel in preschool and beyond. Through our award-winning My Gym fitness curriculum our students will transition into preschool and kindergarten with confidence and curiosity. We will use physical activities, arts and crafts, stimulating small groups and independent activities, and basic academic preschool instruction to introduce new skills and a love for learning. This 3-hour program for 2.5 yrs - 4.5 yrs old focuses on making learning fun and exciting in the familiar and nurturing atmosphere of My Gym. Our Preschool Prep program is limited to 15 children per class.
Mighty Mites3¼yrs - 4½yrs
With greater independence comes the ability to participate without the parent, and our Mighty Mites are lavished with positive reinforcement for self-reliance and following directions. Strength, flexibility, and agility are increased, as our teachers introduce gymnastic skills with the safest spotting techniques and communication through language geared to build self-esteem and confidence. Sensitive to peer pressure, these 3-year-olds are nurtured so tenderly and always with a success-oriented approach. Relays, more complex games, and beginning sports skills lead to increased strength, enhanced manipulative ability, and improved hand-eye coordination during this program.
Mighty Mites/Whiz Kids LIVE3.25 years to 6 years
The kids in this class are lavished with positive reinforcement for self-reliance and following directions. Strength, flexibility, and agility are increased as our teachers introduce physical skills with language geared to build self-esteem and confidence. Balancing activities, basic gymnastics, and beginning sports skills in this program lead to increased strength, enhanced manipulative ability, and improved hand-eye coordination. After School Program4yrs - 10yrs
Our After School Program incorporates Science, Arts, and Math – and marries the best of My Gym’s games, relays, and physical fun with project-based learning! No two classes are the same, as themes change weekly. Kids will love exploring outer space/superheroes, under the sea, Jurassic times, all things Frozen, and more! Created especially for children ages 4 through 10, this drop-off program is appropriate for any family looking to supplement their child’s education in a fun, engaging, and experiential learning environment.
Ninja Training5yrs - 10yrs
My Gym Ninja Training classes are designed to be fun and challenging while remaining safe and noncompetitive. Classes will focus on developing strength, stamina, and agility in relays, conditioning exercises, games, team-building and, of course, obstacle courses that change every week. Kids will be challenged mentally and physically, while instilling a mindset of overcoming adversity both inside and outside of the gym!
