How My Gym Works

We’re so excited to have you join us at My Gym! All classes and programs require pre-registration. We cannot accommodate any walk ins unfortunately. Visit the schedule page HERE to get signed up! To make your My Gym experience a GREAT one, here are a few other important things to know. 

What’s Included in Membership?
One thing that sets us apart is we do not run classes in sessions. You can join at ANY time of year and ANY week of the month!

  • We offer two membership options for our 50- & 60-minute classes.
    • Enrollment in ONE structured class per week - $129 per 4-weeks.
    • Access to UNLIMITED structured classes each week - $169 per 4 weeks.
    • ALL membership includes: Your weekly age-appropriate structured class AND the ability to attend multiple Open Gym sessions (parent supervised open play) per week.
      • Ex: You're enrolled in Tuesday 10am Terrific Tots - that means you will always have a saved spot in this class. Each week you will register for the Open Gyms you want to attend. 
    • We cannot guarantee space in Open Gym so remember to always schedule them in advance using your online account! We make it very easy to book them in your online account which keeps real time availability. 
  • Non-enrolled siblings are allowed to attend Open Gym for a drop-in fee of $10/per child per visit. 
  • Tuition is billed continuously (payments are charged every 28 days on the day of your enrolled class)
  • Need to miss class? We offer easy to book makeup classes!
    • Use your online account to mark yourself absent before class begins and you'll receive a makeup credit in your account.
    • If you do not let us know ahead of time, no makeup credit will be available.
    • Credits can be used in another age-appropriate gym class that is not your regular weekly class
    • Makeups are a benefit of enrollment, not an extension. Makeup credits have no monetary value, so any remaining credits expire as of the last official day of enrollment. 

Interested in Trying Class Before Enrolling?

  • We offer a 1-week trial for new families who haven't taken class with us before! Trials give you access to unlimited classes and Open Gyms.
  • If you have multiple children, they will each be enrolled in a separate trial with a separate payment. There is no sibling discount for trials as they are discounted already.
  • The trial is unlimited so you can try multiple classes to ensure you enroll in the right class for your child. If you want to continue with unlimited classes after the trial you can upgrade for an additional fee. 
  • If you love class, there is no need to do anything but continue coming to class - welcome to My Gym! Your membership will automatically convert at the end of your trial, and you'll be charged for the next 4 weeks of class.
  • If class is not quite right for you, then cancel your trial week by the 7th day and you will not be automatically charged for the next 4 weeks of class.
  • If you've been enrolled within the last 6 months, you're ineligible for a second trial. When you're ready to return to class you'll choose "Enroll Now" button on our schedule page. 

Billing, Freeze, & Cancellation Policies

  • Tuition is automatically billed every 4-weeks (28 days) at your current tuition rate. Payments are charged on the day of your enrolled class. Refunds are not available after a tuition payment has been charged. 
  • If there are multiple children in your family, each child will have a separate membership and billing date that coincides with their enrolled class.
  • Cancellations:
    • We hope you LOVE your classes! Our age-appropriate programs grow with your littles ones all the way to age 10 years old! But, if life happens and you need to cancel your membership, you can do this easily on your online account with 4 weeks' notice.
    • Cancellations are not taken verbally, and My Gym staff cannot process your cancellation in the gym, this ensures your cancellation is processed correctly. 
    • All makeups expire as of the last day of enrollment since they do not have any monetary value.
  • Freezes:
    • We offer a freeze option for families who need to miss class for 2-4 weeks. The maximum allowed time is 4 weeks. 
    • A freeze saves your spot in class without any payments being charged and it moves your next payment back the same number of weeks as your freeze. A freeze does not prorate payments. So, if tuition is due before your freeze starts your entire tuition payment will be charged.
    • Our freeze saves your spot in class with no payments due, so it can only be done for up to 4 weeks once every 6 months.
    • A freeze does also save any accrued makeups for use when you return. 

My Gym Preschool Policies
This is a special 3 hour drop off program separate from our gym classes. It is held in our private preschool room.

  • You will be billed every 4 weeks (28 days) on a recurring schedule. See the schedule page for current tuition pricing
  • We understand sometimes you may have to miss class for sickness or a planned trip. And sometimes we are closed for major holidays or inclement weather. We do not push payments for missed classes or planned closures as your payment saves your spot in program and space is extremely limited. 
  • If you need to cancel enrollment in this program, you can do it in your online account with 4 weeks' notice. We cannot process cancellations verbally or in the gym to ensure your cancellation is processed correctly.

Other Policies

  • Siblings: Siblings are not allowed on the gym floor during class for safety reasons, and to maintain the integrity of our age-appropriate programs.
    • Infants under the age of 1 can be worn in an infant carrier or contained in their car seat. For their safety they cannot be simply held or allowed to sit on the floor or any equipment during class.
    • Siblings who are old enough to sit alone in the lobby are welcome to enjoy a quiet activity while their younger sibling takes class. Please ensure if they will be using a tablet that you bring headphones.
  • If you would like to enroll 2 or more children under the age of 6 in the same class, try our super fun Siblings & Friends Class!
  • Can't commit to enrollment right now? We do offer class cards! Purchase them HERE and then use your online account to book your classes. There is not a sibling discount for class cards, that discount is a benefit of being enrolled in class with us. 
  • Sniffles? Cough? Runny nose? 
    We love sharing – just not germs. If anyone in your family feels ill in any way, please stay home and get well soon! Let us know you will not be attending class by marking your child absent online. We'll get you in for a make-up class as soon as you're feeling better!
    • If you or your child show signs of illness during class, a My Gym teacher will kindly ask you to return another day. We appreciate your compliance.
  • What steps can I take to keep my child safe while at My Gym?
    Although accidents are rare at our centers, all physical programs have an inherent risk. We take great care in designing our curriculum and gym setup to be as safe as possible. Your help in following all safety policies and in-class safety announcements will maximize your child’s safety while at My Gym.
  • When participating in class, children wear My Gym Gripper socks to ensure safety as they climb and play on our equipment. Other gripper socks are not allowed. Parents are required to wear their own socks - no grips required! 
    If you happen to forget socks, they may be purchased for $3 upon arrival.
  • Parents/caregivers are responsible for constantly supervising their children during parent participation classes. Always be within an arm’s reach or less of your child and ready to assist as your little one explores the gym and equipment.
  • We encourage you to take pictures (use @mygymswportland to tag us!), but please be mindful to take photos/videos of only your child. 
  • All older children must be picked up promptly once the class or camp has ended.
  • My Gym is a nut-free facility. Please do not bring any products containing nuts into the gym.

Holidays the gym is Closed
There are a few days during the year we are closed. The full list of planned closures is on this page: 2026 Planned Closed Days. 

  • When a closure happens on a day of your regularly scheduled class, we will ensure a makeup credit is placed in your account. Please use your online account to book a makeup class in any other age-appropriate structured class other than your usual weekly class the week before or up to 8 weeks after the closure.
  • Occasionally we experience inclement weather and the gym will be closed for everyone's safety. For example, if local authorities ask people to stay off the roads due to ice or snow, we will follow their lead. We will text everyone enrolled if class is cancelled due to weather. This is one of the reasons we require pre-registration for all classes.
