My Gym was born out of our passion to teach children in a fun, physically engaging environment. We delighted in seeing children's eyes light up for all those incredible milestones, from the tentative first steps to tumbling down soft mats. Sharing the parents’ excitement at their children’s accomplishments was the high point of our day.
Picture this: In 1983, three fitness enthusiasts—Yacov, Susi Sherman, and Bill Caplin—redefined children's fitness by blending dance, gymnastics, and athletics. That's the birth of My Gym! Their mission: create a space just for kids—no more sharing mom's or dad's gym, but My Gym. With backgrounds in dance, gymnastics, and athletics, they crafted a unique fitness curriculum focused on non-competitive skill building for ages 6 weeks to 14 years. Fast forward: Cory and Monique turned My Gym into a franchise sensation in 1994. The success was undeniable, growing from 100 kids to over 400 in a year. Now a global phenomenon, My Gym is consistently ranked the #1 children's program worldwide.

Ryan DebinOwner
Ryan Debin’s journey with My Gym began in 2012 when his own children were enrolled and absolutely loved every class. When he learned the owner was selling, Ryan saw an opportunity to keep that special experience alive — for his family and for others in the community.
What started with one location soon grew into a passion for helping families discover the joy, confidence, and connection that My Gym brings. Today, Ryan owns and operates multiple My Gym locations across Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New York.
Through his company, Momentum Enterprises, Ryan also operates other well-loved family and fitness brands in the area — including Launch Entertainment, Wimbledon, Club Elevate, and Retro Fitness.
Ryan hopes that your family loves being part of My Gym just as much as his did — and that your kids leave every class smiling a little bigger and standing a little taller.
Craig joined the My Gym Newton family in 2015, became Assistant Director in December of 2016, and moved the Burlington location in 2017. He now not only oversees all of the Momentum Enterprises My Gym locations, but is the Director of Operations for all of Momentum Enterprises. Craig earned his bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Fitchburg State University. Craig loves sports, fishing, and food!
Beth joined Momentum Enterprises in December 2024 as the Director of My Gym Framingham after spending over 5 years with another children's fitness center. When My Gym Wellesley opened, she moved to the new location to help open the doors and bring My Gym to the Wellesley community! Fun Facts: Beth is a 4th degree black belt and has her DBA.
Sara started at My Gym in September 2023 at our Newton location! She took a break to go back to school this past year but decided to rejoin My Gym and move to Wellesley as our Assistant Director when we opened! Fun Facts: She has a nearly 9 year old bearded dragon and she loves to paint and make art pieces!
Carter started with My Gym in September 2023 down in Virginia. Prior to joining Momentum Enterprises at our Medfield location, he was at the Chantilly, Vienna, and McLean locations in Virginia. Mr. Carter moved to the Wellesley location in March 2026. Fun Facts: He has been on 15 cruises and has had 10 cats throughout his life.
Aidan joined My Gym Wellesley in April 2026, shortly after we opened after spending time acting and doing character experiences! Fun Facts: He has been in productions of Pippin, A Christmas Carol, and Fiddler on the Roof in three different stats: Vermont, Florida, and Massachusetts. He is friends with not only Bluey at the Bluey Experience but also the Easter Bunny!
My Gym is consistently ranked the #1 children's program worldwide. And our awesome, fun teachers are the main reason behind that.
