Under New Ownership
Hello!
First and foremost, from our family to yours, we hope you and your loved ones are safe and healthy during this trying time.
As you may have heard, my wife Erin and I purchased My Gym Woodland Hills location from Yacov and Susi Sherman in July of 2020. This is my 20th year with My Gym, and I have never been prouder in my career than to have been trusted with the Sherman’s family of members, clients, and friends. I hope to continue their legacy and provide you and your children many years of play, physical fitness, and special once-in-a-lifetime moments.
The Future of My Gym Woodland Hills:
After being closed since March, LA County has now allowed us to reopen with heightened safety/cleaning practices and reduced capacities. Our Grand opening is set for April 5th, 2021 (click here to read more about it).
In the meantime we've been busy renovating the gym. New paint, new furniture, all new equipment, new toys, new puppets - nearly everything is new! We know many of you are eager to return to the gym and some normalcy. Thank you for your patience! We're now ready to safely reopen.
A Little About Me:
After a small stint at acting, I quickly realized that my true passion was in children’s entertainment/education and not in the entertainment industry. 20 years ago I began my career with My Gym Encino as a part-time instructor. Soon I progressed to full-time, then director, and many years later I was offered the opportunity to partner and become a co-owner. I jumped in with both feet and have loved every minute since! Over the years I have also worked very closely with My Gym Corporate helping train future My Gym franchisees from around the world, and I was the leader of My Gym’s live troop: “The Activators!” Along the way I got married, had 2 kids and moved to Woodland Hills! My how time flies!
I look forward to meeting you and your families – even if it must be through a mask and from a distance for now.
