Updated 8/30/21: New safety measures have been implemented as a result of the rise in Delta Variant cases.
We have always been known for our stringent cleaning protocols. We have increased our efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic.
We are thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing before our programs start for the day and at the end of the day when our programs have ended. All surfaces are sanitized with an electric sanitizing sprayer between every program. We are cleaning and sanitizing every piece of handheld equipment, used for different elements of our programs, after being used. Extra sanitization efforts are taken in regards to handles, railings, lobby benches and cubbies, entryway, and bathroom. In addition, equipment used for staff member facilitated skills are sanitized between each child. Staff members' hands are sanitized between spotting each child.
When sanitizing, we are following EPA-recommended Contact Time (which is the amount of time the treated surface should remain wet to be effective against SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19)). We are also using sanitizing products recommended by the EPA to be effective against SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19).
Our floors are mopped multiple times throughout the day with products recommended by the EPA to be effective against SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19). Our carpeted floors are vacuumed multiple times a day using HEPA-rated vacuum bags.
We have installed MERV-14 filters in our HVAC system (the same filtration grade used for surgery rooms). We have multiple fans running to allow for adequate airflow. Our HVAC system intakes and returns are cleaned weekly. In addition, our door and windows will stay open for ventilation (weather permitting).
We highly encourage all members to bring their own reusable water bottle or sippy cup to decrease the use of our water dispenser. If members must use our water dispenser, there may be no refills without a new cup. If members would like a refill on their water, they must use a new cup.
Hand sanitizers are found in multiple spots in the gym. Members (children and adults) are required to wash hands before playing on the gym floor and before leaving the gym.
