How My Gym Membership Works

How My Gym Membership Works

Congratulations, and welcome to one of the most inclusive families in the world! With over 700 locations nationwide, My Gym continues creating safe spaces for children and building lasting friendships. Thank you again for joining our family here in Santa Barbara – we are excited to take this adventure with you and create #momentsthatmatter.

How does enrollment work?

  • We have no membership fees; our tuition is $139 every four weeks and is auto-billed for your convenience. Siblings receive 20% off their tuition when they are also enrolled.
  • Trials- Please remember that if you do not cancel out, you will be auto-enrolled into our program, and the first month is non-refundable. You can only enroll
  • in a single trial per Calendar year from the date of your first trial experience, and our system will flag your account. If you have any questions, please notify the Gym ASAP.
  • Your enrollment includes one age-appropriate, structured class per week & unlimited access to our open gym times, known as "Practice & Play." As this program is less structured and designed to allow for self-directed play, we ask that parents/caregivers participate with their child(ren) at all times; there is no drop-off. We offer multiple opportunities to attend Practice & Play throughout the week, and you can schedule your visit(s) right from your online via the website or app!

IMPORTANT NEED TO KNOW:

**My Gym Super Grip Socks are now required for all classes & Practice & Play**

Due to the class structure, our program does not offer walk-ins or drop-ins.

Freezing: Your first Freeze on your account is FREE.
Every Freeze after that will be $5 per week
(up to 6 weeks.)
Canceling: Please make sure you cancel ahead of schedule.

My Gym Cancellation Policy is a 30-day cancellation.

Refunds: We do not do refunds; we will credit your My Gym Accounts.

Online Booking:

  • We've made online booking super user-friendly! You can log in to your account to schedule makeups, drop-ins for Practice and Play, mark yourself absent for a class, plan a fantastic birthday party, sign up for camp and Parent's Night Out, and freeze/cancel enrollment as needed.
  • Our website will only show classes that have spots available for booking. Sorry, but My Gym personnel cannot override the system or book makeup classes for you in person.
  • Be Our Guest! 😊 Trial Experiences are now available online. If you have a friend who wants to try a class, please direct them to the website to book their one-week trial with us!

Sniffles? Cough? Runny nose?

  • If you or your child show signs of illness during class, a My Gym teacher will kindly ask you to return another day. We appreciate your cooperation.
  • We love sharing – just not germs. If you feel under the weather, log into your account and mark yourself absent from class. Remember that we have a GREAT makeup policy. Six weeks before makeup expires. Please stay home and get well so we can see you around the big, blue circle again soon!
  • My Gym Santa Barbara complies with all regulations Santa Barbara County's Public Health Department imposes. At their direction, masks are currently recommended – but not required – for children and adults.

What steps can I take to keep my child safe at My Gym?

  • Although our centers have rare accidents, all physical programs have inherent risks. We carefully design our curriculum and gym setup to be safe. Your help following all safety policies and in-class announcements will maximize your child's safety at My Gym. Also, remember that each class is created to help develop each age group's fine and gross motor skills, spatial awareness, and Cognitive development.
  • Children go barefoot when participating in class to grip the floor and equipment while running and climbing correctly. All adults, however, MUST wear socks. If you forget your socks, you can borrow some clean pairs; please put them in the dirty bin, unfold them, and thank you.
  • Parents/caregivers are responsible for supervising their children during parent participation classes and the Practice and Play program. Always be within arm's reach or less of your child's reach and ready to assist as your little one explores the Gym and equipment.
  • Please wash your hands or use sanitizer before entering the gym floor and when leaving the Gym.

Other important FYIs

  • Siblings: other than infants, siblings are not allowed on the gym floor unless enrolled in their proper age-appropriate class. You can wear, sling, or wrap an infant while your enrolled child participates. If you want to register two or more children in the same program, try our Siblings Class!
  • We encourage you to take pictures (use #mygmysantabarbara to tag us!), but please be mindful of only taking photos/videos of your child. If you're in a group setting, ask the adults if taking a photo or video is okay.
  • Due to colds, flu, and RSV Winter Season from November 20th through March 3rd.All Pre-Gymnastic, Ninja Training, Gymnastic, & Whiz/Champs will be drop-off classes only. For our Parent Participation classes, we know it's the holiday season, but we ask that whoever is bringing your child to classes is the only one in the Gym. This will help slow the spread of germs and keep everyone healthy and happy. If you have any questions about our updated policy, please email us.
  • Please remember to be on time for pick-up and drop-off classes, camp, events, & PNO.
  • My Gym is a nut-free facility. Please do not bring any products containing nuts into the Gym.
  • All classes and programs at My Gym are private; extended family or friends are welcome to join in on the fun and watch from our lobby; however, curious guests, please schedule a trial.

Sincerely (and with hugs and high-fives!),

My Gym Santa Barbara Staff
